The concert, presented by Ignatian Volunteer Corps. of New Orleans, Loyola University and Regions Bank, will reflect IVC’s mission, the inspiration of music to make the world a better place, enhance awareness of IVC in the city and provide financial support for the organization. The concert will feature local celebrity musicians and vocalists performing songs from various genres covering different social justice movements from slavery abolition, women’s suffrage and civil rights, up to songs addressing issues of the present day.
This exciting event will take place on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. at Nunemaker Auditorium, Loyola University as the kick-off event for the Loyola Week celebration.
