Black Saints Celebration

The Black Saints Celebration gathers the Black Catholic Community and others from the Church of New Orleans in celebrating Black Catholic History Month. Each year the celebration honors some aspect of Black Catholic culture or heritage. The day begins with a parade through the community and then concludes with a prayer service and reception. This is a great evangelization tool by allowing the Black Catholic community to showcase our gifts and invite others to live out their faith in a more profound way.
