Northshore Advent Morning of Reflection

Archbishop Tom Rodi, retired Archbishop of the Diocese of Mobile will celebrat the Mass and Liz Fitzpatrick will serve as the speaker for the Morning of Reflection.

Speaker Bio:

As a mother of two, grandmother of eight and former middle school teacher, Liz Fitzpatrick knows that children are profoundly influenced by what they read. Since retiring from the classroom, Elizabeth has combined her lifelong love of writing with her ongoing desire to inspire young people.  

Elizabeth felt compelled to start writing Christmas stories in thanksgiving to God after surviving a massive stroke at the age of 38. She is the author of Father Si-mi-ty and her newest book, A Great Light in the Darkness, a collection of inspiring stories. She is currently working on two books for younger readers.
 
When not writing, Elizabeth enjoys playing piano in nursing homes and volunteering at the National Shrine of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos in New Orleans.
