Brief Summary:
Facing the challenges of aging in our youth-oriented culture can be daunting. Yet the Lord offers us a spiritual path to not only accept but embrace our elder years as a time of growth and transformation — a season meant to bring peace, freedom, and joy, and to open new ways of being fruitful for God’s Kingdom.
To receive this gift, we must be willing to see with new eyes and to let go of old attitudes and habits to make room for something new. Can you, like Bartimaeus in Mark’s Gospel, say to Jesus, “Lord, I want to see”? If so, you are warmly invited to take a fresh look at The Spirituality of Aging.
