Jubilee Event at St. John the Baptist, Edgard

On Saturdays August 9, October 11 and December 6, St. John the Baptist in Edgard will host a special Jubilee event for local pilgrims. Because the church is undergoing repairs from damage caused by Hurricane Ida, the church is not accessible during the week. Therefore, the community at St. John the Baptist invites the broader archdiocesan community to attend one of these three special events.

On each day Eucharistic Exposition and Benediction service will begin at 1:30 pm. Opportunities for tours of the historic church building and cemetery as well as the Sacrament of Reconciliation will follow until 3 pm.

Visitors are welcome to join the parish in praying the rosary at 3:30 pm and celebrating Vigil Mass at 4:00 pm.
