"Sunday Best: Faith, Family & Fashion" Exhibit Gala Opening

Please mark your calendar for Friday, September 12, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.—the gala opening celebration for a new exhibit at the Old Ursuline Convent Museum, Sunday Best: Faith, Family, and Fashion.
 
This enlightening exhibit will delve into the rich tapestry of history, attire, and the significance of "wearing your Sunday best."  As we journey through the years, we will see how  attire for worship has transformed since the 1800s. This exhibit will explore the evolution of clothing and its meanings across various decades and crucial world events, celebrating the enduring spirit of tradition and self-expression.  

As part of the exhibit, we will be proud to exhibit some of Mrs. Gayle Benson’s personal collection of her own Sunday Best.
 
Sponsorship opportunities are available for the gala opening and exhibit, and all proceeds will support the Our City, Our Cathedral Campaign to restore St. Louis Cathedral.
