”It is not you that shapes God, it is God who shapes you. If then you are the work of God, await the hand of the artist who does all things in due season. Offer him your heart, soft and tractable, and keep the form in which the artist has fashioned you. Let your clay be moist, lest you grow hard and lose the imprint of his fingers" (Saint Irenaeus)
Please join us for a morning of prayer and art through clay. We are all unique, sacred creations and we all carry the seeds of God’s creativity deep within. We will explore how God speaks to us through the language of art using nature and clay. Join Ann LaBauve, an Ignatian trained spiritual director and potter, for a morning of prayer and clay. You do not need to have any artistic experience. Bring an open mind, open hands. and an open heart to explore how God may be shaping your life.
