Have you arrived at the second half of life? Do you feel your biological clock ticking? Are you dealing with an empty nest? Retirement? Have you been asking God for a new purpose in life? If you are in your forties or beyond, and you have answered yes to any of these questions, please consider joining us for this day of reflection on the spiritual significance of the second half of life and how God has designed us to live it.
Presenter Bio:
Susan Cain is a retired secondary school teacher. She has been a student of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola since 2010. After completing a three-year course in leading preached retreats, Susan gave retreats at Our Lady of the Oaks Retreat House in Grand Coteau from 2019-2024. Most recently she has been a student of the spirituality of aging and has felt called to share what she has learned through study and experience of God’s plan for our second half of life journey. Susan is married to Al Cain, and between them they have 5 grown children and 15 grandkids. They reside in Lafayette, LA.
